Seminar on Nature, Outdoor Life, and Environmental Management
Thursday 22. Oct, 10:00 - 15:00
Campus Bø, Bø
Welcome to a seminar about nature, outdoor life, and management!
Bø Turlag and USN invite students, pupils, municipal employees, folk high schools, members of Bø Turlag, and anyone interested to a day filled with input, conversations, and reflections about the nature we use, manage, and love.
The day celebrates both Bø Turlag turning 50 years old and USN – formerly Telemark District College – having offered education in nature, environment, and outdoor life for more than 50 years. Through lectures, practical tasks, student presentations, walk and talk sessions, and a panel debate, we highlight questions such as: What does nature and outdoor life mean to people in Bø? How do we take care of areas for outdoor life? And what dilemmas do we face when nature, research, management, and use come together?
This will be an exciting and relevant day for everyone interested in nature, outdoor life, local communities, and future management.
